What do I do when I lose my password!?
First of all, if you lost a channel password, you don't need it as long as the nick you founded the channel with is still registered. You just need to identify for your nick. But, if you want the password, you can do /msg ChanServ SENDPASS #mychannel to have services send the password to your e-mail address (assuming the address stored with your nickname record is valid, see below.)
If you have supplied a valid e-mail address with your nickname (probably when you registered your nick), you should be able to do /nickserv sendpass nick and get your password through e-mail. Of course, it's always a good idea to change your password after you do this, especially if anyone else could look at your e-mail.
If you didn't supply a valid e-mail address, or it's changed since you registered your nick and you didn't bother to update it, then you're pretty much out of luck. You can either hope to remember it or resign yourself to waiting until your nickname expires and you can reregister it with a password you can remember. Sorry, you're probably out of luck unless you remember it.
