I've put together a survey with which I hope to help non-profits,
advocacy, and marketing groups that survey the LGBT "community" gather more accurate demographic data.

If you'd like to take the survey here's the URL-- to be of value I've
made answering mandatory for nearly every question:

I especially want to help data gatherers obtain accurate numbers
regarding the folks they believe fall under the T "umbrella".
I think nearly every survey I've seen under reports the "T"
demographic. I've already tested this survey through another
discussion group and I've gotten interesting, and I believe
significant, results from a relatively small sample size.

I personally think LGBT survey takers loose important demographic
information when they ask some variation or subset of the following:

Gender:
1. male
2. female
3. MtF
4. FtM
5, transgender
6. gender queer
7. decline to state

What I'd like to accomplish with my survey is to perhaps find an
efficient and accurate method of obtaining demographic information.
I'm currently using a free version that limits the number of responses
I can use to 250. If I get indications that others feel there's value
in further distribution, I'm willing to pay Survey Gizmo for an
upgrade and work on finding wider distribution channels.
